BayCoast Mortgage Company, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Connell of Bristol, Rhode Island, to Assistant Vice President Retail Lending Compliance Manager.

In his new role, Connell, who joined BayCoast Mortgage Company in September of 2018 as a Retail Lending Compliance Specialist, is responsible for managing the Retail Lending Compliance function within the Lending areas. His duties include team management to maintain legal compliance with all applicable lending laws and regulations for the products and geographic areas covered by Retail Lending divisions, in addition to overseeing preparation of periodic reports pertaining to Mortgage and Consumer loans including the bank’s annual HMDA submission.

Connell’s experience in the financial services industry spans more than 20 years, and includes retail, consumer/mortgage lending, compliance/auditing and risk management.

A graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Connell makes his home in Bristol, Rhode Island.
