Christine Cormier Named Clinic Manager at Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Norwell Clinic

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, recently named Christine Cormier, MSPT, as Clinic Manager of the Norwell clinic.

Cormier graduated with a degree in Rehabilitation Science in 2001 and then with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2002 from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She has worked extensively in the outpatient, orthopedic setting throughout her career. She enjoys working with patients of all ages treating a variety of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-operative and spine related disorders as well as sports injuries, balance training and fall prevention. She uses a comprehensive approach to patient care including manual therapy, Graston techniques for soft tissue mobilization, core strengthening, postural re-education and a tailored, patient-specific exercise prescription to allow each patient to achieve their maximal functional levels. She is a Graston Certified Provider.

Cormier enjoys teaching and has been a lab instructor for Bay State college for the PTA program and also provides lectures on physical therapy for the PA program at Tufts University. A lifelong South Shore resident, she currently lives in Hanover with her husband and 2 young children and enjoys staying active with weight training, hiking, playing tennis and being anywhere near the water in the summer.
