Robert D. Blute III, a producer at Sullivan, Garrity and Donnelly Insurance Agencies, has been named President of the Board of Directors of Nazareth Home for Boys for a fourth one-year term.

The McAuley Nazareth Home for Boys is a licensed and accredited residential special education school and group home serving youth ages six to eighteen who have experienced emotional trauma and neglect. Blute was first named to the Board in 2010.

In addition, Blute serves as Vice-President of the Board of the Worcester Historical Museum, a member of the Finance Committee for the Guild of St. Agnes and is the Director for Audit for the Board of Bay State Saving Bank.

A resident of Worcester and Harwich, MA Blute joined SG&D Agencies in 2008. Prior to joining the Agencies Blute worked with an Agency on the North Shore. Blute earned a Bachelor of Art degree in history from Boston College and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin School of Business. He has volunteered as a coach for the Joe Schwartz Little League and the St. Peter’s Basketball League in Worcester.
