Brokerage Earns One of the Top 5 Sales in Back Bay in 2019 with 276 Newbury Street
Douglas Elliman 2019 Total Sales Volume Tops $28.7 Billion in Closed Sales
On March 3rd, Douglas Elliman, the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the United States by sales volume, celebrated the firm’s world-class agents from around the nation at its annual awards ceremony – The Ellies. Top performers from Boston were among the honorees at this year’s event held at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.
Nationwide sales for Douglas Elliman in 2019 totaled $28.7 billion as the company continued its nationwide growth into new markets. The firm was responsible for 44,726 sales and rental transactions, and was ranked the number two brokerage in the nation by sales volume.

The firm earned one of the top five sales in Back Bay for the year, with 276 Newbury Street selling for $25 million, and the number one highest sale in Brookline with 37 Sears Road selling for $11,275,000. The firm had both of the top two sales at Millennium Tower, as well as the third highest single-family home sale in Beacon Hill ($5,750,000) and the third highest condo sale at 50 Liberty ($3,250,000). The Live in Luxury Team, The Sarkis Team and The David Green Group were all listed in the top 100 sales teams for Boston in 2019.

In Boston, the Top Team based on both Gross Commission Income (GCI) and Transactions was The Sarkis Team. They were followed by the Live in Luxury Team (#2) and The David Green Group (#3) by GCI.
Boston’s Top Individual by GCI was Elaine Dolley. Other top individuals included Myrna Rothman (#2), Lynne Zekis (#3), Mario Massimino (#4) and Ruth Ann Gordon-Bowers (#5).
The Top Individuals by Transactions in Boston were led by Karen Colombosian. She was followed by Ruth Ann Gordon-Bowers (#2), Myrna Rothman (#3), Lynne Zekis (#4), Stephen Kraunelis and DJ Gendreau (tied for #5).
Peter Giannikopoulos received Elliman’s Rookie of the Year award for Boston.
The prestigious Pinnacle Club Award winners, presented to Boston agents and teams who made over $1 million in 2019, included The David Green Group, the Live in Luxury Team and The Sarkis Team.
