Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Names Kaitlyn Powers as Athletic Trainer at Scituate High School

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is pleased to announce that Kaitlyn Powers of Hanover, Massachusetts has joined the practice as the Athletic Trainer provider at Scituate High School.

In this role, Powers, who recently joined the Peak staff, will be responsible for preventing, treating and rehabilitating sports-related injuries for all Scituate High School athletes; in addition, she will provide emergency care, as needed.

She will also assist in Peak’s Scituate clinic, providing patients receiving rehabilitation therapy with exercises to help them achieve optimum results. Her unique qualifications as an Athletic Trainer is a benefit when supporting patients with their exercise programs.

Powers recently moved back to her hometown of Hanover, after living in Pompano Beach, Florida for the past year; prior to joining Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida.

She is a graduate of Keene State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.

Powers has been a competitive gymnast since childhood; her “love for the sport” has been carried forward by coaching young gymnasts.
