Global 50 law firm Goodwin Procter LLP recently announced the relocation of its Boston office – the firm’s oldest and largest – to a Silver LEED-certified, built-to-suit tower at 100 Northern Avenue on Boston’s Fan Pier.

The building’s opening was officiated on Tuesday, 6/29, with a ribbon cutting, featuring (left to right): Goodwin's Chief Administrative Officer Michelle Duerr-Condia, Partner Alexander Randall, Chairman David Hashmall, The Fallon Company CEO Joe Fallon, Goodwin's Chairman Emeritus Regina Pisa, Boston Office Chair Andrew Sucoff, and Chief Operating Officer Michael Caplan.

Developed by The Fallon Company, Fan Pier is a modern, metropolitan neighborhood set against the backdrop of Boston’s waterfront and Boston’s city skyline. 100 Northern Avenue is the fifth building to be completed at Fan Pier, which spans 21 acres and 9 city blocks, and features a unique blend of commercial, residential and retail opportunities. Fan Pier is widely viewed as the catalyst of the waterfront’s renaissance.

As the anchor tenant of 100 Northern Avenue, Goodwin occupies floors seven through 17 as well as a portion of the sixth floor, or approximately 375,000 square feet in total of 100 Northern Avenue’s commercial space. The building is located adjacent to Boston’s prestigious Institute of Contemporary Art and overlooking The Public Green and six-acre Fan Pier Marina.
