SEC Alert: Berkshire Partners' Bradley Bloom Resigns from Board of Carter's
On May 13, 2010, Bradley M. Bloom resigned his position as a member of the Board of Directors of Carter's, Inc. and its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, effective immediately. Mr. Bloom did not resign for reasons involving a disagreement with the Company or its management, or because of any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies, or practices.
Bradley Bloom Biography
Bradley M. Bloom is a founder and Managing Director of Berkshire Partners LLC, which was started in 1986. Prior to founding Berkshire, Mr. Bloom was a partner at The Thomas H. Lee Company. He received an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Bloom is currently or formerly a director of Acosta Inc., Amerace Corporation, America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, L.P., Atlas Paper Mills Ltd., Charrette Corporation, Image Industries, Inc., MD Beauty, Inc., Miami Cruiseline Services, Inc., Sterling, Inc., Weigh-Tronix, LLC and Carter's Inc. He is also active in the non-profit sector, currently or formerly serving on the boards of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Milton Academy, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, among other involvements.
