8 PanAgora Funds Raise $285.4M, Bringing Trust’s Weekly Total to $359.4M - CBL

BOSTON -- Eight funds by PanAgora Group Trust have raised $285.4 million in total through an offering of pooled investment fund interests, according to separate Reg D filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
PanAgora Risk Parity Total Return Fund raised $110.8 million; PanAgora Emerging Markets Fund, $44.2 million; PanAgora Small Cap Core Fund, $43.5 million; PanAgora Dynamic Large Cap Core Fund, $33.7 million; PanAgora Index Fund, $24 million; PanAgora Equity Index Fund, $24 million; PanAgora Dynamic International Equity Fund, $3.8 million; and PanAgora Tactical Asset Allocation Portable Alpha Fund, $1.35 million.
Citybizlist already reported this week that the PanAgora Global Tactical Asset Allocation Fund raised $74 million, so that brings the week's total raise for the trust to $359.4 million.
PanAgora Asset Management Inc., a subsidiary of Putnam Investments, both based in Boston, is the hedge fund's investment manager and a principal named in the filing. Other principals named are Louis Iglesias, Eric Sorensen, Paul Sutton, Michael Turpin, Robert Orr, Richard Tibbetts, Hiroshi Ishimura, Phillip Ryan and Tomohiko Masuda. All are members of PanAgora Asset Management.
The company invests in the public-equity, fixed-income and hedging markets. It primarily provides services to high-net-worth individuals, banking or thrift institutions, investment companies, pooled investment vehicles, charitable organizations, corporations and state or municipal government entities.
