Stoneham MA Chamber of Commerce Elects New Officers
Stoneham MA Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sharon Iovanni recently announced the election of Officers for 2009-2010.
Paul Simms, Assistant Vice President for Commercial Lending at Stoneham Savings Bank was elected President. Mr. Simms is serving his second term as a Director and also served as the Chamber's Vice President and Treasurer. He was previously affiliated with the Beverly Chamber of Commerce.
Stoneham resident Joseph Gresci, Principal at Erwin & Gresci Financial Group, was elected Vice President. Mr. Gresci has served on the Board since 2005 and chaired or served on the Business and School Partnership, Board Affairs, Crystal Ball and Golf Tournament Committees. Mr. Gresci was recognized by the Chamber in 2008 for his efforts on several of these committees with the Chamber Champion award.
Paul Moriarty, Principal of Moriarty Financial Group, LLC, will serve as Treasurer for a second term. Marking his third year on the Board, Mr. Moriarty has served on the Golf Tournament Committee and is active in Chamber and local networking groups. He was honored by the Chamber in 2007 as the New Member of the Year.
Annemarie Walsh was elected to serve for a third year as Clerk. Ms. Walsh is a Community Relations Representative for NStar and has served as a Director since 2005. She Co-Chairs the Chamber's Retail Committee and has served on the Golf Tournament and Crystal Ball committees, and, along with her company, was honored as a Chamber Member of the Year in 2004.
Iovanni noted that the Chamber, which in 2009 celebrates its 25th anniversary of founding, will formally present the new officers at the association's annual Crystal Ball on November 21.
