STAG Industrial Inc. has added CubeSmart's top executive, Christopher P. Marr, as a director on its board and chairman of the nominating and corporate governance committee, effective Aug. 2.
Marr is president, COO and chief investment officer of Wayne, Pa.-based CubeSmart and previously was CFO and senior vice president of Brandywine Realty Trust. He is filling a seat vacated by Edward F. Lange Jr., who decided not to stand for re-election in the spring.
"His general business expertise and, in particular, his specialized experience in the REIT space will be invaluable to the company," said Ben Butcher, CEO of Boston-based STAG.
