Marie brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and senior management for high technology companies in the federal government market. Reporting directly to Mike Thompson, SEPATON president and CEO, Marie will lead SEPATON’s federal sales team and oversee all sales activities in the federal market.

 

Marie has an excellent reputation in the industry and a proven track record of designing and executing best-in-class sales programs. Her extensive experience in sales management includes high tech companies ranging in size from emerging to multi-national.

As vice president of federal sales and support at Sun Microsystems, Marie directed sales and support field teams throughout North America and on U.S. military bases overseas around the world. In this role, she worked with executive leadership to implement aggressive change management and continuous improvement processes that resulted in dramatic improvement in sales efficiency .Prior to joining SEPATON, Marie founded and managed Clifton Advisors, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in the information technology and defense industries. In this role, she developed a portfolio of services that addressed the needs within the US Federal Government and private sector markets. Marie has also held senior management positions at a number of organizations serving government agencies and Fortune 500 enterprises, including, ClearEdge Power, Inc., VMware, Robbins-Gioia, Epok, Inc and Sun Microsystems.
