Richard Kimball, co-chair of the Technology practice at Edwards Wildman, was recognized as an Outstanding Partner to TiE-Boston Programs for his contributions to the organization's bootcamps and conference planning. Kimball received the award at the 13th annual TiE Gala Dinner on November 8 at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge, Mass.

More than 100 attendees gathered to celebrate another year of successful activities of TiE-Boston.

Kimball has represented more than 40 venture capital firms and dozens of technology and life sciences companies over the course of his career. He has extensive experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as in M&A, public securities and initial public offerings. Kimball is especially passionate about working with start-up companies and entrepreneurs as they form and grow their businesses. He is a founder of Edwards Wildman's acclaimed Helping Innovators Thrive (HIT) program (hit.edwardswildman.com), which provides support and affordable access to strategic legal advice for qualifying entrepreneurs and young companies.

TiE-Boston is a comprehensive eco-system for entrepreneurs with vital resources for every stage of the entrepreneurial process.
