Tamr Appoints Karen Cambray as CFO and Melissa Campbell as CRO

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tamr Inc., the leader in enterprise data unification, today announced three executive appointments -- including the company’s first CFO, first CRO and a new Head of Product & Engineering -- to help meet strong demand for its solutions.

Karen Cambray joins as Tamr’s first Chief Financial Officer and Operations Lead, bringing more than 20 years of experience executing strategic, financial and operational plans for early- and mid-stage growth companies. Cambray most recently served as CFO for Cartera Commerce, where she was awarded Boston Business Journal’s 2014 CFO of the Year for the mid-size private company category. She previously worked as CFO and Head of Operations for Groove Mobile and Zeemote.

Joining Cambray as a new member of the Tamr executive team is Chief Revenue Officer Melissa Campbell, who brings more than 25 years experience in enterprise software sales. Campbell most recently served as Group Vice President for Oracle’s Service Automation business in North America, where she led a 450+-person team driving the go-to-market efforts of a high-growth, $200M business. Prior to Oracle she held sales leadership roles at BMC, BEA, and IBM/Lotus.

Tamr also has promoted Clare Bernard, PhD to the role of Head of Product & Engineering, where she will lead the strategy and development of Tamr’s enterprise data unification platform. Bernard joined Tamr in 2014 and has had a succession of technical leaderships roles, most recently as the head of product management. She has worked closely with several of the company’s largest customers, helping them accelerate their digital transformation programs with Tamr’s software and solutions. Prior to joining Tamr, Bernard completed her PhD in high-energy particle physics at BU while conducting research at CERN.
