BayCoast Bank today announced that Edward (“Ted”) Branco of Fall River, Massachusetts, has been promoted to Business Development Officer, working from the Bank’s Troy Street location in Fall River.

Prior to his promotion, Branco was an Assistant Treasurer/Branch Manager. In this new role, his responsibilities include developing and maintaining business relationships across all business lines, preserving an active, visible role in community organizations and interacting with senior management and other Bank officers to further expand customer relationships and develop new contacts.

Branco began his career in the financial services industry in 2004 as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Champion Mortgage.

Branco holds an Associate’s degree from Bristol Community College. He is an Army Veteran and served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1993-1999.

A resident of Fall River, Branco is active with the St. Anthony of Padua Youth Retreat Program, is a travel soccer coach with the Fall River Youth Soccer organization and is a SouthCoast Mentoring Initiative for Learning, Education & Service (SMILES) mentor.
