BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sidley Austin LLP is pleased to announce that Alexander Temel and William Schwab have joined the firm as partners in its Boston office. They are members of Sidley’s global Private Equity practice. Both were formerly with Latham & Watkins LLP.

Mr. Temel has considerable experience advising private equity clients on early- and late-stage private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations and search fund investments and acquisitions. He represents clients in transactions across a variety of industry sectors, in particular, software, financial services, business and consumer services, healthcare, oil and gas, and media. Mr. Temel also serves as primary external counsel to a range of privately held companies, including search funds, and represents entrepreneurs and management teams in connection with rollover transactions and new ventures.

Mr. Schwab focuses his practice on advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts and secondary transactions as well as leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. He has experience in representing searchers, search fund investors and search fund companies on matters relating to fundraising, acquisitions, company operations and exit strategies.
