Madison Stone

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, announces that Madison Stone of Scituate, Massachusetts has joined the practice as a Rehab Aide.

In this role, Stone splits her time between the practice’s Norwell and Scituate offices, assisting patients in post-therapy exercises, stretches and modalities to ensure their safety and comfort. In addition, she educates and guides patients in the proper use of equipment and exercise routines, assists administrative staff and physical therapists in supply and equipment maintenance and guarantees a clean, organized, friendly work environment where the focus is on premium patient care.

Stone joined Peak Therapy & Sports Performance earlier this year with a background in retail, customer service, childcare and hospitality.

She received a Bachelor’s degree from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina and is certified as a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician. Stone intends to utilize her certification in a hospital or EMS in the future and plans to attend graduate school in the future to further her education in the healthcare industry.

A native of Scituate, Stone enjoys cooking, running, Pilates, going to the beach with friends and “letting my 14-year-old Siberian husky take me for walks!”

“In the short time Maddie has been on our team she has proven herself to be a valuable member,” said Eric Edelman, PT, owner of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. “Her outstanding interpersonal skills, commitment to our patients’ well-being, energy and enthusiasm are recognized and appreciated.”
