Erica Hicks, DPT, one of the staff members from Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance to man a table at the recent Scituate COA Health Fair at St. Mary’s Parish Center

Staff from Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, volunteered a table at the recent Scituate Council on Aging Health and Lifestyle Fair to address the topic of fall prevention.

The well-attended health fair was held at St. Mary’s Parish Center. Staff members from Peak Physical Therapy, including owner Eric Edelman and Erica Hicks, DPT, manned a table and offered a questionnaire to attendees to determine if they were at risk for falls. The Peak team then provided education about the benefits of physical therapy to prevent falls.
