The South Shore Habitat for Humanity is actively seeking volunteers with experience in various industries.
Volunteers with the following skills are needed to assist the faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to delivering simple, decent, affordable homes to people in need:
- Civil Engineering
- Residential Real estate law
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Marketing/social media
- Residential construction
- Project management
- Office support
- Database management
- Event support
In addition, volunteers are sought to work at the Hanover ReStore; several opportunities are available Tuesday – Saturday.
“Our mission depends on the hard work of volunteers,” said Martine Taylor, Executive Director of the South Shore Habitat for Humanity. “Whether it is swinging a hammer on the build site, volunteering in the office, serving on an event committee, marketing our mission goals or volunteering at the ReStore, volunteers are critical to every part of our vision to ensure everyone has the opportunity for safe, affordable housing.”
