Frederik F. Erikson
Webster Bank is pleased to announce that Frederik F. Erikson, senior vice president, has been named deputy general counsel.
Erikson joined Webster in 2001, and he is responsible for major transactions including; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and complex supplier arrangements; intellectual property matters including trademarks and licensing, and litigation management, and also recently performed the duties of assistant corporate secretary.
“Fred plays a critical role on the legal team, and has been a top performer during a time of extraordinary growth for the bank. This promotion is welldeserved,” said Harriet Munrett Wolfe, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Webster Financial Corporation.
Prior to working at Webster, Erikson worked for a law firm specializing in technology related matters, and for GE Capital, supporting their global sourcing department.
A resident of Danbury, Connecticut, Erikson has volunteered with Americares and the American Red Cross. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University at Albany-SUNY and received his J.D. from Albany Law School.
