Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Hosts Ribbon-cutting Ceremony

11/2/17

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, recently held an Open House/Ribbon Cutting ceremony to showcase the opening of a new clinic in Norwell that will exclusively treat women’s specific health conditions.

State Representative David DeCoste and Norwell Selectmen Jason Brown and Ellen Allen were in attendance at the ribbon-cutting and congratulated the almost 10 year old company on their expansion.

Peak’s Women’s Health Program, named Team Peak Pink, is directed by Sue McCarthy, PT and designed to provide non-surgical and non-medication options for a number of conditions. The program evaluates each patient to identify the source of the problem and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Team Peak Pink will have 1,000 square feet dedicated to women’s health conditions and will be located at 99 Longwater Circle in Norwell across the hall from their existing clinic in suite #203. The program offers a state of the art treatment plan to treat urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre and post natal low back pain.

They will also treat orthopedic conditions related to breast cancer including shoulder and neck issues following a mastectomy, lumpectomy and radiation treatments. They also treat osteoporosis.

“We are overwhelmed by the response from the community on this free standing women’s clinic,” said Eric Edelman, PT and owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. “People are very excited and we are proud to fill this very real need on the South Shore. We welcome everyone to contact us to learn more about the offerings of the clinic.”
