Florence Bank Promotes Michelle Cayo of Granby to VP, Credit Administration Manager

Florence Bank (www.florencebank.com ), a mutually-owned savings bank serving the Pioneer Valley through tenbranch locations, has hired Michelle Cayo of Granby, MA to the position of Vice President, Credit Administration Manager.

Cayo joined Florence Bank in July 2017 with nearly twenty years of commercial credit experience.

Cayo studied at Bay Path University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, she received her Master’s Degree in Communications and Information Management from Bay Path. Cayo has completed the New England School for Financial Studies program and is in the process of completing the Graduate Banking Program from the American Bankers Association.

Cayo proudly serves her community as a member of the Jimmy Fund Council of Western Mass. In the past, she has also served as President of the Professional Women’s Chamber of Western Mass. In 2013, Cayo was recognized by Western Mass Women’s Magazine as Volunteer of the Year to recognize her work for children with pediatric cancer. Cayo was also recognized by BusinessWest as a member of the 40 Under Forty Class of 2011 which celebrates young business and civic leaders in the Pioneer Valley.
