Proverb Named To ICIC Inner City 100 List

10/11/17

Proverb, a multidisciplinary branding agency, is named to the ICIC Inner City 100 for the third time in three years. The ICIC is a list of America’s fastest-growing inner city businesses, sponsored by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).

Every year, ICIC identifies and supports the 100 fastest-growing inner city businesses. These businesses, led by some of today’s most creative entrepreneurs, create good jobs where they are needed most. The list is published annually in FORTUNE magazine. In addition, Proverb was one of the top- ranking companies in Massachusetts on the IC 100 list.

As Managing Director of Proverb, Daren Bascome along with Managing Partner Christine Needham works to shape the images, narratives, and messages that define his clients. Bascome’s team has guided revitalized neighborhoods in cities like Washington, DC and Los Angeles in reshaping their image and has even helped religious leaders strategize about how to better connect with the millennial generation. Proverb’s central location in Boston’s South End allows them to attract a young, diverse, ambitious team and has also infused the team with deep understanding of the complexities of an urban neighborhood.
