Sacred Heart High School Appoints Jean J. Marston as Vice Principal

Sacred Heart School, a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, is pleased to announce that Jean J. Marston of Hanover has been named High School Vice Principal.

Prior to joining Sacred Heart, Marston was the Assistant Principal at Archbishop Williams High School and previously held the post of Director of Curriculum and Instruction with Cardinal Spellman High School.

Her career as an educator includes Technology Coordinator/Computer Studies, Department Chair at Cardinal Spellman, Computer Science Teacher with the Freetown-Lakeville School District and as an Adjunct Professor at Framingham State College.

Marston received a B.S.B.A. degree from the Boston University School of Management and earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State College (now University). She is presently a doctoral candidate at Lesley University; her Dissertation Proposal is entitled: "Teachers Understanding of Neuroeducation to Enhance Student Learning."

Marston had the honor of speaking at the Massachusetts Educational Technical Administrators Association Conference in 2012 and has authored the iBook “Aligning Instruction to Brain-Based Learning.”

She and her husband Clay Marston live in Hanover and are the parents of three grown children.

Sacred Heart is led by President Sister Myra Rodgers, CDP, who holds Masters degrees in Theology and Music. High School Principal Michael Gill holds a doctorate in Education.
