BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Weedmaps, the leading cloud technology company serving the cannabis industry, is now the newest member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. It is the first cannabis-related company to join the more than 1,300 businesses and organizations that make up the Greater Boston Chamber’s influential membership.
To kick off its active participation in the Greater Boston Chamber, Weedmaps’ President and General Counsel, Chris Beals, will be a featured panelist at a September 22 Chamber Forum titled “Legalized Cannabis: Building a Successful New Industry.” The event will highlight how the emerging cannabis industry in Massachusetts will contribute to the local and state economy, benefit the broader business community, and provide opportunity for small business owners including entrepreneurs of color. Other participants include Dot Joyce of Dot Joyce Consulting, Shaleen Title, co-founder of THC Staffing Group, and Todd Finard, CEO of Finard Properties.
