U.S. News & World Report ranked Bentley University No. 2 among regional universities in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, up from No. 3 last year, highlighting Bentley's high-quality faculty and academic programs along with the strong value that students receive from a Bentley education. Bentley was also named No. 4 among regional universities on the list of "Best Value Schools," according to U.S. News.

At Bentley, 99 percent of graduates are employed or headed for graduate school within six months after graduation. Planning for a career begins the first semester students arrive on campus through the university's HIRE Education career action plan, a 4-year approach to lead students toward a fulfilling career path.
As part of discovering their career path, 92 percent of Bentley students complete at least one internship and 69 percent complete more than one before graduation. Bentley was ranked the No. 1 school for internships by The Princeton Review earlier this year.
In naming Bentley to its list of America's Best Colleges 2018, U.S. News & World Report honored Bentley in several other categories, too:

How the Ranking Was Conducted
The U.S. News Best Colleges rankings include data on 1,800 colleges and universities and are based on metrics including surveys completed by academic leaders and administrators (22.5 percent), graduation and retention rates (22.5 percent), faculty resources (20 percent), student selectivity (12.5 percent), financial resources (10 percent), graduation rate performance (7.5 percent), and alumni giving (5 percent).
