The merger announcement was made by CENTURY 21 Commonwealth Founding Partner Nick Patsio, who said that founder Michael Blumsack and three of his team members will join the CENTURY 21 team as Agents and will be part of the company’s Watertown, MA office.

Blumsack Real Estate has operated as an independent real estate brokerage firm since 2011. Blumsack himself, who is a native of Brookline, MA, has been in the real estate industry for the last ten years. During his time at the helm of his own agency, he worked with developers, buyers, sellers and property managers. He brings a strong, entrepreneurial background to his new role with CENTURY 21 Commonwealth, having worked in financial services, construction development , and marketing prior to real estate. He recalls that entrepreneurism runs in his family, noting that his grandparents operated businesses in their native Greenfield, MA and that his cousin was at one time the city’s Mayor.

Blumsack is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and is an avid rugby player, affiliated with the Boston Rugby Club. Joining Blumsack in the new venture are his team members Dick Mulligan of Brighton, Matt Pitney of Waltham, and Ciaran Foley of Brookline.
