Three Associate Project Managers join forward-thinking firm.

Fort Point Project Management, Boston’s leading independent project and relocation management firm, is proud to welcome three new Associate Project Managers to the firm: Catalina Montanez, Thomas Cunningham, and Shirley Ng.

“This bright and local new group of project managers, hired for their diverse skills and talents, showcases our commitment to maintaining our competitive edge in the market,” said Christine Mosholder, co-founder of Fort Point Project Management. “I’m so excited to grow our seasoned team of energetic and experienced leaders.”

Catalina Montanez brings three years of experience as an architectural designer and project manager. In her previous positions at Boston-area architecture and construction firms, Catalina developed a passion for creativity and graphic design. In her new role, Catalina is focusing on phased, corporate construction projects, facilities planning, and move coordination. She is currently working on a phased renovation of a 120,000-square-foot law office in Boston, providing detailed furniture plans and coordinating with carpenters to maximize the reuse of existing furniture in the new space. Catalina infuses her work and life with her Columbian heritage and lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Thomas Cunningham comes to the firm fresh out of school, having recently graduated with a Bachelor of Art in Architectural Studies from Boston University. In his new role, Tom will focus on the firm’s life sciences market, currently supporting a 250,000-square-foot biotechnology relocation and coordinating the occupancy of an addition to a local research and development facility. Tom grew up on Cape Cod and currently lives in Brighton, Massachusetts.

Shirley Ng brings two years of experience in facilities planning. In her previous role working with Shire, a leading global Bio-tech, Shirley worked with her clients to provide space allocation and renovations while creating and maintaining the schedule and budget. In her new role at Fort Point PM, Shirley will focus on both corporate and higher education clients, is currently working on multiple relocation projects in Providence where she is managing art inventory, coordinating 1,500 pieces of lab equipment, and transitioning professors and staff to a new administrative and research development building. She graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Master of Architecture. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Shirley speaks two dialects of Chinese fluently.
