7/27/17

Full-service real estate and property management firm Peabody Properties Inc. (http://peabodyproperties.com) today announced that Jacquelyn B. Larivee, LICSW, Resident Services Manager, was recently recognized by New England Resident Service Coordinators, Inc. (NERSC), and given their “Excellence in Service” award.

(L-R): Karen Fish-Will, CEO, Peabody Properties; Jacqueline Larivee, Resident Services Manager; Doreen Bushashia, President, Peabody Resident Services; Melissa Fish-Crane, COO, Peabody Properties.

Additionally, Larivee was recently named “Resident Services Manager of the Year” by Peabody Properties. This award was given out in June at Peabody Properties’ Annual Meeting as part of its 2017 Employee Recognition Award Program. Larivee was selected for the award “for effectively putting the HOME in housing in all community interactions.”

NERSC is a non-profit organization providing quality training, professional development, and networking opportunities for resident services professionals. The “Excellence in Service” award celebrates the dedication of a New England resident services professional to their community and the residents in which they serve.

In her current role as Resident Services Manager for Bedford Green, a 70-unit 55+ veteran supportive housing community for chronically homeless veterans, and Howard House, a 14-unit veteran supportive housing community for chronically homeless veterans (and both Peabody Properties communities), Larivee has developed effective relationships with the VA and with community partners. Through this collaboration, she has created an impressive array of services and programs, and has worked diligently to assist her residents, many of whom are formerly homeless, to transition into the community.

Larivee joined Peabody Properties in 2011 as a Group Adult Foster Care Resident Services Coordinator for Peabody Resident Services Inc. (PRSI), and moved on to the position of Resident Service Coordinator for The Moorings and Anchor’s Weigh in 2013. She was promoted in 2016 to her current role, and throughout her time at Peabody Properties, has expanded her professional development by taking on new opportunities within Resident Services and has been successful in all her roles, working as a team with her management colleagues.

Larivee is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and holds Massachusetts Association of Resident Service Coordinators (MARSCH) Certification in accordance with Housing and Urban Development regulations. Additionally, she serves on the board of Compass, a nonprofit organization that provides services to an at-risk population of youth, adolescents and families; volunteers with Caritas Communities; and serves on the Charity Committee of New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA).

“Jacquie’s commitment to the veteran community is commendable and recognized throughout the industry as a model,” said Lynne Sales, Director of Resident Services for Peabody Properties.

Peabody Properties Principal and COO Melissa Fish-Crane added, “We congratulate Jacquie on this well-deserved achievement. Jacquie has made a tremendous difference in veterans’ housing, and was recently honored by Peabody Properties for her unwavering commitment to our mission of Putting the HOME in Housing. It is gratifying to see a regional organization like NERSC also recognize the tremendous efforts Jacquie puts forward on a daily basis to not only form lasting connections between community organizations but to also better the lives of her veteran residents.

“Jacquie is most deserving of this ‘Excellence in Service’ award and we congratulate her whole-heartedly,” she continued.
