BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEGA International has appointed Revell Horsey as senior vice president and managing director of the company’s rapidly growing North American business.

Horsey will manage all MEGA operations in the US and Canada, including strategy and business development, sales, marketing, customer support and consulting.

For nearly 30 years, he has provided expertise in financial and operations management to both established and start-up businesses. Horsey was first a corporate finance specialist on Wall Street, then teamed up with company founders to build innovative businesses that provide disruptive solutions to conventional challenges.

“Revell’s experience working with the largest Fortune 100 companies, innovative emerging growth businesses and pioneering start-ups, in both technology and finance, will be valued by our customers,” remarked Lucio de Risi, CEO, MEGA. “He understands the challenges CEOs and boards face as they must steer their companies through rapidly shifting markets that require agility and innovation to meet new customer demands.”

Before joining MEGA, Horsey was acting CFO and director of Aquicore, Inc., an internet-of-things (IoT) start-up providing energy management software for commercial buildings. Previously, he was a co-founder and president of HelloWallet, a SaaS personal financial management company that was subsequently acquired by Morningstar. Horsey was also an executive at Bank of America, where he ran the technology corporate and investment banking practice and, prior to that, the equity capital markets group. He began his career with The First Boston Corporation and Alex, Brown & Sons.

Horsey is a director of Great Elm Capital Corp., an externally managed specialty finance company that trades on the NASDAQ. He is also on the board of CT Next, a public/private partnership established by the Connecticut Legislature to promote start-up business activity in the state. He serves as treasurer and chairman of the Investment Committee of the American Cathedral in Paris Foundation. For years, he has been an active board member and volunteer with many organizations focused on helping small businesses, youth education and sports, the environment, disadvantaged communities and local government.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and French from Dartmouth College.
