People's United Bank Appoints Joseph Wadlinger as SVP

People's United Bank today announced that Joseph Wadlinger has joined the bank as Senior Vice President, Business Banking, specializing in Higher Education and Non-Profits. He will be responsible for building out these industry-specific business lines as the bank looks to expand its strategic focus across the footprint.

Wadlinger brings more than 30 years of banking experience to his new role, including an extensive background in sales management, strategy and execution. He has held leadership positions in insurance, global markets, middle market and business banking. He was most recently with Citizens Bank as Senior Vice President for Non-Profits across New England. He serves on several Massachusetts-based boards and will be headquartered in Boston.
