BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EY has announced that Stefania Mallett and Briscoe Rodgers, co-founders of ezCater, the only nationwide marketplace for business catering, are winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award in New England. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who excel in innovation, financial performance, and community commitment. Mallett and Rodgers were selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala at the Marriott Copley Place on June 27.
Founded in 2007, ezCater’s online marketplace connects businesspeople who need food for meetings or events with over 50,000 restaurants and caterers across the United States. Mallett and Rodgers have led the company from a two-person bootstrapped start up, to a high-growth organization with over 250 employees and $70 million in venture funding.
