Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has been named 2017 Employer of the Year by the Boston Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS-Boston). Kennedy/Jenks’ firm-wide statistics played a big part in the Employer of the Year selection demonstrating that the firm strongly supports the hiring and advancement of women. Companywide, 26% of the executive and management level staff are women, with three women serving as Board of Directors. Specifically, on the east coast, one-third of our employees are women; four are Vice Presidents and/or Principals; four women lead technical groups or national client markets; and two of three offices are led by outstanding women.

Sean O’Brien, Vice President and National Transportation Director, accepted the award on behalf of Kennedy/Jenks. In his remarks, Sean stated, “If the team that Kennedy/Jenks is building is going to serve our clients well, we must include people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and opinions. By prioritizing diversity of all types, we are building a stronger firm so that we may better serve you.”
