Rivers will Appear at the I Love Boston Sports Store in the South Shore Plaza (Braintree) this Saturday, June 24, to Promote its Sports Apparel Line
I Love Boston Sports (ILBS), the Boston-based creative force behind the most recognizable and distinctive Boston-inspired sports apparel on the market, announced today that New England Patriots rookie defensive end Derek Rivers has signed an agreement to become a brand ambassador for its apparel line.

Rivers will be appearing at the I Love Boston Sports store at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Mass., on Saturday, June 24 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. He will promote the ILBS apparel line; pose for photographs and sign autographs for all Boston sports and football fans.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Rivers was drafted in the third round (83rd overall) by the Patriots in the 2017 NFL Draft. He recorded a school-record 41 career sacks at Youngstown State, fifth in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) history. Rivers had 58 total tackles (44 solo), 19.5 tackles for a loss, 21 quarterback hurries and 15 sacks as a senior for the 12-4 Penguins, who lost to the James Madison Dukes in the 2016 FCS National Championship Game.
The Augusta, Maine-born Rivers ran the 40-yard dash in 4.61 seconds, just faster than top-overall pick Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns, and recorded 30 reps on the bench press, both fourth best for defensive ends at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.
