Established in 1975, Nameplates for Industry (NFI) began as a sales office for a small manufacturing company located on the Isle of Wight in England, named Nameplates for Industry, Ltd. As a strong customer base was built, NFI Corp. launched its own manufacturing operations out of a location in New Bedford, MA. By 1988, the American-based NFI Cop. began operating independently from the UK-based company.

Megard arrives at NFI Corp. with over two decades of experience as an executive in highly complex global businesses and a sterling reputation as a high-energy leader who inspires high-performing teams. Prior to purchasing NFI Corp., Megard served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain at Cabot Corporation, where he was responsible for a $1.4 billion global supply chain. Previous experience includes work at BASF, where he managed nearly $400 million in business, and roles including Trade Lane Manager and Franco-American Business Development Manager at DHL and DAHER.

Megard earned his MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from IDRAC Business School in France.

Since acquiring NFI Corp., Megard has worked to emphasize and strengthen the company’s reputation as solutions providers, in part through offering additional services such as a new design studio and new printing process for plastic, as well as by collaborating with other organizations through partnerships that foster sharing best practices and putting ideas into action.
