Partners Insurance Group, LLC, one of the region’s leading independent insurance agencies with eight locations in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, sponsored a free “Shred Day” for the benefit of area residents recently at 560 Wilbur Avenue (Route 103) in Swansea, MA.

Over 100 participants took advantage of the service, which allowed them to bring up to two boxes of materials to be shredded, at no cost. The event offered an excellent opportunity for the public to bring private, sensitive and/or confidential information to the site to be properly destroyed. This shredding process avoids the potential devastating results that can occur when confidential information falls into the wrong hands.

“We are glad that so many people took advantage of this opportunity,” said Lawrence Wilson, President/Chief Executive Officer of Partners Insurance Group. He added, “We had a steady stream of visitors all morning, and many expressed gratitude for being able to safely shred their confidential and private documents. We are happy to assist in the responsible disposal of sensitive information.”
