The Law Offices of Clerc & Associates, P.C. today announced that the firm’s paralegal, Taunton resident Katie Paquette has successfully passed the Massachusetts Bar Examination.

Paquette, whose goal is to practice law, earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and her Juris Doctor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, in Dartmouth, MA. Prior to joining Clerc & Associates, she interned at the Fall River Law Office of Val C. Riberio. She also completed a legal internship at the Law Office of Kenneth J. Amoriggi in Providence, RI. A lifelong resident of Taunton, MA, she also interned for the City of Taunton in their Law Department.

In looking ahead to practicing law, she said that the area of business law is of interest to her.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Hunter. She also counts art, and oil painting in particular, as one of her favorite pastimes. In the warmer weather, she enjoys kayaking, and spends time boating on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
