Clarus Ventures has raised $789.7 million toward an $880 million fourth venture fund, according to a filing with the SEC.
The firm’s third fund raised in 2014 was $500 million, according to Thomson Reuters.
Managing directors for the new fund include Nicholas Galakatos, Emmett Cunningham, Scott Requadt, Robert Liptak, Nicholas Simon and Kurt Wheeler. Managing directors Dennis Henner and Michael Steinmetz are not mentioned in the filing.
