Hollywood Public Relations, an integrated public relations and communications agency servicing a consumer goods and business services clientele, has been named one of the top 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal for the second year in a row. To qualify for the "Fast 50" list, companies needed to have a baseline of $1 million in revenue for 2016.

Hollywood ranked 30th at this year's award ceremony, up from 43rd the previous year. Nearly 160 privately held companies applied for inclusion by submitting nominations that closely analyzed financial performance over a three-year period. Hollywood was one of just three public relations firms to make the list, with an impressive 167 percent revenue growth rate since 2013.

"We're currently celebrating our sixth year in business. To achieve this level of growth and recognition at this stage is a direct result of the entire team's tenacity," said Principal Darlene Hollywood. "Humbly in the presence of game-changing Boston businesses, we're just getting started, and we're excited to see where we go next."

Since its inception in 2012, Hollywood has grown to a full-time staff of 12. Building its robust portfolio of both consumer and B2B brands, the agency secured several new client wins in the non-profit, travel, hospitality and technology sectors in the last year alone.

As a result of steady revenue growth, Hollywood made several new hires and promotions within the agency this year, both at the senior and junior levels. To accommodate the addition of new talent and growth, the agency recently moved its headquarters from Plymouth, Mass. to Hingham, Mass.
