5/9/17

Seniorlink, Inc., a provider of care collaboration solutions, today announced the appointment of Kelli Tungate, MWS, LSW as the new State Director for the company's subsidiary, Caregiver Homes of Massachusetts. Caregiver Homes is a statewide provider serving over 2,600 families throughout the Commonwealth with its unique home-based care management solution that offers coaching and support by experienced clinicians to complex consumers and their caregivers.

Tungate brings nearly 20 years of experience managing all aspects of in-home elder care programs and services, including three years as Seniorlink's Indiana State Director. During this time, Tungate increased the number of families served by tenfold, to 800 families. Tungate also led the rollout of Vela, Seniorlink's HIPAA-secure platform that enables care teams to use technology to stay connected with their families and share real-time access to care plans with other providers and payers.

"Kelli has been a leader in every aspect of helping families care for aging loved ones in their own homes and communities. Her fantastic leadership, drive, and passion for our work is on display each and every day," said Tom Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Seniorlink. "We're excited to see her bring that enthusiastic leadership to Massachusetts."

Prior to joining Seniorlink, Tungate worked with CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions, the largest Area Agency on Aging in Indiana. She held a number of positions at CICOA, starting as a Care Manager and working her way up to Chief Operating Officer.

"I've worked with older adults and their families for my entire career and I believe deeply that helping them stay in their own homes and communities for as long as possible is best for everyone involved," said Tungate. "I am honored to be able to bring the successes we helped build in Indiana to the families of Massachusetts, and look forward to offering the community here the support, advice and coaching needed to care for aging adults and persons with disabilities."

Seniorlink provides care collaboration solutions that integrate and activate consumers, caregivers, payers and providers to deliver high-touch, person-centered care. The company's Caregiver Homes program is the first home and community-based service in the nation to receive the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) highest level of Accreditation for Case Management, and is the only NCQA-approved provider for case management in all six states where the company operates today.
