SIM Boston Celebrates 40th Anniversary; Opens Registration for Annual Golf Outing

SIM Boston boasts more than 425 current members; contributes more than $277K to local outreach programs since 1977

The Boston Chapter of SIM, the longest continuously running premier professional organization serving the needs of IT leaders in the Eastern New England area, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.  Since 1977, the organization has been influential in shaping the local IT market, cultivating the next generation of technology leaders and practitioners, and boasts a long, successful history of philanthropy, supporting a number of important outreach programs such as local STEM initiatives, Boston Public Schools and youth advancement programs.   This steadfast commitment sets SIM Boston apart from any other IT organization in the community.  To learn more, visit: www.simboston.org

This year, the annual SIM Boston Michael P. Brooks Memorial Golf Outing will take place on June 14th at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, MA.  One of the most highly anticipated events of the year, proceeds of this important event will support the SIM Boston Community Outreach Programs and Outreach Partners: Year Up, Tech Boston, Latino Stem Alliance, Jr. Tech and the SIM Boston Future Potential in IT program outreach to area colleges and universities. The Boston Chapter, the largest chapter within SIM, comprises 10% of the national membership which is closing in on 5,000 members across 43 chapters.  Through more than 50 networking and knowledge sharing opportunities each year including the CIO Roundtable, Technology Leadership Roundtable and Education Roundtable, SIM Boston serves as an invaluable professional resource to those dedicated to advancing the technology industry.
