MIDDLETOWN, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National lender Embrace Home Loans announced that it has opened a new branch in Rhode Island, located at 935 Jefferson Blvd, Ste. 3003 in Warwick. The new location will be managed by branch manager Michelle Solomon.
According to a release from the Rhode Island Association of Realtors®, 2016 was the year when the state’s housing market firmly reestablished its footing. Last year, Rhode Island saw record home sales, with 11,038 single-family homes sold, a 12.4 percent increase from 2015. Additionally, home prices rose 6.6 percent with the vast majority of homeowners regaining the home equity lost during the housing market crash.
“With an improving economy and increased buying activity, we felt we needed to increase our presence in Rhode Island,” said Solomon. “By being more centrally located, we’ll be able to better serve both our borrowers and referral partners across the state, as well as the surrounding communities, including Massachusetts and Connecticut.”
Solomon has nearly 20 years of mortgage banking experience. Prior to joining the Embrace Home Loans team, she was a producing branch manager at Poli Mortgage Group, overseeing sales, training and coaching her sales staff, and managing the day-to-day events and challenges. Solomon’s successful career stems from her excellent customer service, extensive loan program knowledge as well as the respect and guidance she provides her team of dedicated loan officers. She is an active member of several professional and community associations, such as the National Association of Professional Woman, Business Networking International and her local Chamber of Commerce.
