Windjammer Capital Investors is pleased to announce that it has acquired Vital Records Control in partnership with VRC’s management team. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Memphis, TN, VRC provides a suite of information governance services and solutions. The Company offers offsite records storage, climate controlled storage, release of information services, vaulting services for media backups, destruction services including mobile shredding, imaging services, records indexing services, and medical workflow solutions. VRC currently operates from more than 25 locations, with a focus on the Southeastern US and serves customers in more than 30 states.
VRC’s customer-first culture has attracted a wide array of long tenured customers, including Fortune 500 companies as well as thousands of regional and local companies. VRC provides customers with industry leading security and chain-of-custody of sensitive documents, enabled by the Company’s proprietary RF-based tracking system for stored records and strong security protocols. Further, VRC’s proprietary software provides customers with reporting for document tracking, scan-on-demand, and simplified invoicing.
