Pepper Hamilton Appoints David Stauber as of Counsel

Pepper Hamilton LLP announced today that David Stauber has joined the firm as of counsel in the Tax Practice Group, resident in the New York office.

Mr. Stauber focuses his tax practice on mergers and acquisitions, fund formation and securities offerings. He handles a broad range of transactions, including cross-border transactions and corporate restructurings, and has considerable experience with international tax matters.

“David is well-versed in M&A and international tax matters, and is able to distill those issues down to provide efficient and effective counsel to clients. Pepper has a strong business tax practice, and we believe David will add tremendous value to our group,” said Joan Arnold, chair of Pepper’s Tax Practice Group.

Prior to joining Pepper, Mr. Stauber was an associate in Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s tax practice. Mr. Stauber received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2008, where he was awarded the Merit Award for Taxation of Financial Instruments. He will receive his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in the coming year.
