128 Technology Announces Revation Systems Deployment for Enhanced Security, Performance and Reliability

3/8/17

128 Technology, a leader in advanced secure networking, today announced that Revation Systems, a leading provider of secure collaboration, messaging, and unified communication services, has deployed the 128T Networking Platform (128T) to enhance security and improve the performance and reliability of its managed connectivity services. 128 Technology’s session-oriented approach meets Revation’s strict requirements for compliance and network resiliency, allowing Revation to provide secure, multi-path routing and enhanced service levels to its healthcare, financial services, and small business customers.

More than 300 customers across 20 states and three countries rely on Revation to secure their most important connections with customers through its LinkLive solutions, including HD voice/video, web chat, SMS, email, and file transfers. The latest version of LinkLive includes LinkLive Connection Intelligence (LLCI), powered by 128T. This industry-first approach to connectivity intelligence includes real-time session failover, which provides Revation customers with assured, continuous access to its applications and services. By using 128T, Revation delivers augmented connection resiliency, improved real-time streaming quality, and enhanced security with route authentication and payload encryption. 128T also enables Revation to easily migrate from legacy routing technologies, and even leapfrog “new” WAN technologies that rely on complex tunneling or overlay techniques – all without having to buy expensive new infrastructure.

“Our customers require secure, uninterrupted connectivity and often must adhere to stringent compliance regulations. We knew we needed to invest in a next-generation network solution that would allow us to more securely deliver our applications across network boundaries while meeting ever-evolving regulations,” said Perry Price, CEO of Revation Systems. “Using 128 Technology’s session-oriented networking platform, we’ve been able to extend our service level agreements from the edge of our data center to the customer LAN – delivering unmatched security and quality of experience for our customers.”

128T relies on a fundamentally different approach to networking called secure vector routing. The platform focuses on sessions to enable visibility into the unique two-way exchange of information between source and destination endpoints. This allows 128 Technology customers to build context-aware networks that can easily, dynamically, and securely stretch across network boundaries – without relying on costly tunneling and overlay technologies. The solution works alongside (or in place of) existing routers, and runs on general-purpose compute platforms that allow for a wide range of deployment models, from remote branch offices to high-capacity network edges to hyper-scale data centers.

“Cloud computing, mobility, modern applications, and a new security mindset are forcing organizations to completely rethink their network architectures. We believe that session-oriented networks offer a dramatically simpler, more secure, and lower-cost path for customers looking to futureproof their networks without completely replacing what they already have,” said Andy Ory, co-founder and CEO of 128 Technology. “We are excited that Revation is building the network of tomorrow with the 128T Platform alongside their existing network in order to provide their customers with a differentiated, best-in-class experience.”

About Revation Systems

Revation Systems (http://www.revation.com) develops electronic messaging application services, using its unique SAFEc architecture to create the first all-in-one system that provides secure, encrypted communications for all mediums: live-chat, email, instant messaging (IM), IM hunt groups, SMS, real-time Voice over IP and video. Additionally, the company is the first to offer 'presence' capabilities, which alert customers real-time to service personnel's availability. This is important to the marketing, sales and support center functions of contact centers. LinkLive products are compliant with GLBA, SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA requirements for logging, privacy and security.
