Proskauer Promotes 11 Lawyers

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International law firm Proskauer today announced the promotions of 11 lawyers, seven to partner and four to senior counsel.

Partner

  • Stephanie Berdik (Boston) advises U.S. and non-U.S. private investment fund sponsors on all aspects of fund structuring and portfolio investment activities, including capital raising, fund regulatory and compliance matters and firm ownership and operational issues. She advises clients in the formation of buyout, credit, direct lending, and distressed funds as well as co-investment funds and separate accounts.
  • Bradley Bobroff (New York) is a trial lawyer with experience in complex, high-stakes commercial and fiduciary litigation matters. He represents public and private companies and high-net-worth individuals in cases involving contract disputes, fraud, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, disputes among trust beneficiaries and trustees, IP disputes and professional negligence claims.
  • Colin Cabral (Los Angeles) is a trial lawyer specializing in complex patent disputes. He has litigated matters involving a broad range of technologies, including electronics, computer software, and materials science. In life sciences, he enforces IP rights and develops freedom-to-operate strategies for leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Nicole Eichberger (New Orleans) is a litigator who represents clients in all types of employment-related matters, from single-plaintiff cases to large, complex class and collective actions alleging discrimination, non-compete violations, and wage and hour disputes. Her practice also involves workplace investigations and audits, and counseling employers, fiduciaries and trustees on employment issues.
  • Evandro Gigante (New York) represents and advises clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, defamation and breach of contract. He has extensive experience litigating before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, as well as in arbitration. He also counsels clients through workforce reductions and other employment matters.
  • Andrew Kleiman (New York) is a corporate lawyer with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions and joint ventures, with significant experience in the hospitality, pharmaceutical, life science, real estate and banking industries and in transactions involving clients or business in Latin America.
  • Patrick Lamparello (New York) represents and counsels employers on a variety of matters, including compensation disputes, contractual disputes, employment discrimination and retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, defamation and wage-and-hour issues. He defends employers in federal and state courts, in FINRA, JAMS and AAA arbitrations, and before administrative agencies. He advises a diverse range of clients, with a focus on financial services firms.

Senior Counsel

  • Camille Higonnet (Boston) advises clients on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing private investment fund sponsors in structuring funds and portfolio investment activities, as well as regulatory and compliance matters. She also represents both U.S. and non-U.S. institutional investors in their investments in private investment funds, as well as in connection with secondary market activities.
  • Malcolm Hochenberg (New York) has a broad practice in the area of tax law. He advises clients on inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, cross-border investments (with an emphasis on joint ventures involving IP), the structuring of financial products and tax controversies. He represents public companies, closely-held companies, asset managers and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Marguerite Lombardo (Boston) advises clients on the tax and economic aspects of forming, operating and investing in domestic and international private investment funds, including credit funds, venture capital funds, buyout funds, fund of funds, secondary funds and other investment partnerships. She also provides tax planning for operating partnerships, limited liability companies and REITs.
  • Vanessa Maczko (New York) advises high net worth individuals and families on multi-generational transfers of wealth, including transfers of closely-held businesses, real estate, tangible personal property and insurance policies. Her practice focuses on estate, gift, international and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.
