Peter Montesanto, Amelie Lonczak and Ted Lyons

Colliers International, Boston hired industry veteran Peter Montesanto to lead its retail leasing team, and has since added Amelie Lonczak and Ted Lyons to work alongside him.

Montesanto has had nearly 30 years of experience in the greater Boston commercial retail leasing field. Previously the Director of Leasing at the Dartmouth Company, he specialized in broker representation for tenants and landlords, both regionally and nationally. Lonczak joins Colliers with nearly 10 years of industry experience under her belt and a strong background in landlord representation. Lyons began his career in politics and commercial real estate finance before transitioning to commercial real estate leasing. Collectively, the team is focused on retail and restaurant leasing, tenant advisory services and landlord representation, with key tenant representation clients like Sprint and landlord assignments such as Maynard Crossing, a 250,000-square-foot shopping center development.

In addition to growing its retail practice, Colliers has also been focused on diversifying its investment sales group, led by Doug Jacoby and Scott Dragos, to include a team to specialize in multi-family investment properties. Earlier this year, Colliers hired the multi-family sales team of Christopher Sower, Jennifer Price and Maggie Collins, and has since added Jonathan Bryant to the group as well. With over 15 years of experience, Sower joined Colliers as the multifamily team’s senior vice president, leading the creation and execution of acquisition and disposition strategies as well as joint venture opportunities. Assistant vice president Price and associate Bryant focus on the underwriting and implementation of disposition strategies. Collins supports the team in her role as Client Services Specialist, leading document preparation, marketing production, and project research. Year to date, Sower’s team has closed over $77 million in sales, with another $55 million under agreement, and the marketing of 14 additional projects underway.

“We are thrilled to have secured these talented and experienced individuals as Colliers channels its efforts toward the growing retail and mixed-use property markets,” said Jim Elcock, President of Colliers International Boston. “Each team has hit the ground running, providing the highest level of expertise across all property types for our clients, which has become especially important as owners are now trying to avoid putting all of their eggs in one basket.”
