Boston Attorneys to Present at Networking Event for Cannabis Industry Startups

9/28/16

Entrepreneurs and other smart professionals are starting businesses in the medical (MMJ) and adult-use marijuana, hemp and ancillary industries as the end of cannabis prohibition looms closer in the Commonwealth. But when it comes to setting up shop and maintaining a business in full compliance with state and federal laws, the cannabis industry isn't quite like others.

Attorneys Scott MoskolLesley MuldowneyJennifer Green and Frank Segall of Burns & Levinson LLP's Medical Marijuana Business Law group will present on a variety of legal, tax and finance issues at Women Grow: Boston’s Signature Networking Event on October 6.

“There are a lot of gray areas for entrepreneurs, consultants and investors in this industry,” said Beth Waterfall, Women Grow: Boston Chairwoman. “We’re fortunate to have this incredible team of attorneys collaborate on this event – it’s sure to clear up a lot of confusion and give attendees more confidence in their business endeavors.”

This event is open to ticketholders and media, and will take place at Burns & Levinson’s office at 125 Summer Street in Boston. For more information and to register, visit https://impactflow.com/event/boston-women-grow-signature-networking-event-509
