Proverb Helps Give Wings to New Haven’s Corsair Apartments

7/21/16

Proverb, an independent agency in Boston, has completed branding and marketing assignments for the Corsair Apartments, a New Haven, Conn. luxury apartment community, according to Proverb’s Managing Director, Daren Bascome.

Working in collaboration with long-time clients Bozzuto Management Company, and Post Road Development, Proverb was tasked with creating brand platforms for Corsair Apartments, a building used for 135 years of manufacturing and notably for producing the 6-foot long propellers used for the F4U ‘Corsair’, a WW II fighter aircraft for which the apartments take their name.

For the Corsair, Proverb developed strategic positioning, brand identity, marketing collateral, environmental design, and websites for the property. Billings for the assignment were not revealed.

Andy Montelli, President of Post Road Residential commenting on Proverb’s creative abilities said, “Almost half the leases have been done over the Internet – these folks haven’t visited the community, but are committing to live there. People must be loving the website and feel comfortable that it tells them what they need to know about the community. That is a tribute to the excellent product you gave us.”

Conveniently located at 1050 State Street and minutes from downtown New Haven and Yale graduate school campuses, the property features a swimming pool, decked out cabanas, bocce court, fire pit, grilling stations, pizza oven, and a lawnside movie theater. The development is also embracing its industrial and industrious past with steel, brick and repurposed materials, according to the agency.

Proverb is a Boston-based branding and design agency that helps innovative clients achieve market strength through sound strategy and human-centered design. Proverb has become a sought-after partner for companies and organizations seeking to connect with smart, sophisticated consumers in unexpected ways. Past and current clients of the agency include The Bozzuto Group, BlackRock, Museum of Fine Arts, Unitarian Universalist Association and Biogen. More information: www.truthmadesimple.com.
