WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Higher education consulting firm Carnegie Communications recently hosted The Carnegie Conference: Sustaining Your Digital Brand for Higher Education. The event took place January 26 and 27 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and brought in over 70 attendees from colleges and universities across the globe.
Featuring speakers and panelists from a range of organizations, publications, and universities, the presentations and discussions centered around the latest information in online media, digital services, and branding. The focus of the conference was to assist colleges in staying on the cutting edge of the digital movement as their target audience becomes more and more engaged online.
"When I reconnected with Carnegie, it needed a new vision. That vision is digital. We set the course, obtained the expertise, and integrated digital innovations into all of our products and services," said President and CEO Joe Moore at the conference. "The tremendous, continued success of our print products-in spite of the mindset that print is dead-is proof of our commitment and that marrying print and digital works. Hosting this conference was a natural progression; we enjoyed providing the forum for our attendees to both share and expand their knowledge."
The firm also formally introduced Deborah Millin, Carnegie's new Executive Vice President and General Manager. In addition to her focus on client development and overall responsibility for the business, she also serves as part of the senior management team for Alloy Education, Carnegie's parent company.
Millin was most recently the Vice President of Client Operations at High Street Partners, the leading provider of international business services for corporate and higher education clients, where she worked with numerous colleges and universities, including Yale, Duke, and The University of Chicago. "I am thrilled to be part of such a forward-thinking organization," said Millin. "This conference confirmed that Carnegie is that type of organization."
