CONCORD, Mass. -- aPriori Technologies Inc. has raised $4.86 million from a $4.91 million equity offering while attracting four investors.

The Concord-based software company last reported taking in more than $6 million from an $11.22 million round in 2009.

Principals named in a recent SEC filing include:

- Stephanie Feraday
, president and CEO
- Robert Davoli, director, from Boston-based Sigma Partners
- Richard Dale, director, also from Sigma Partners
- Kent Parker, director

Prior to joining aPriori, Feraday held executive-level positions at Netegrity, Hewlett-Packard, Symantec, Delrina and Virtusa. She earned a bachelor's degree in applied science from the University of Waterloo and completed graduate studies in business administration at the University of Toronto.

Founded in 2003, aPriori provides software and services that seek to generate hard-dollar product cost savings for discrete manufacturing organizations. The company says that with its real-time product cost assessments, employees in sourcing, manufacturing and design engineering are able to make decisions that drive costs out of products pre- and post-production.

Richard Dale
Before Sigma, Richard co-founded Phase Forward Incorporated, a provider of service and software infrastructure for managing pharmaceutical clinical trials over the Internet which went public and later was sold to Oracle Corp. At Phase Forward, Richard also served as the Vice President of Services and the Vice President of Strategic Development. Prior to Phase Forward, Richard was Vice President of Operations for Vermeer Technologies, creators of FrontPage which was acquired by Microsoft in 1996. Prior to Vermeer, Richard held roles in professional services management, senior product management and IS management at some of industry's best technology companies including SQL Solutions, Sybase, Epoch Systems (acquired by EMC) and MicroTouch Systems. Richard also provided early stage advice and consulting to FirstSense, OnDisplay, Vignette and QXL.com.

Robert Davoli
Most recently Bob was President & CEO of Epoch Systems, the leading vendor of client-server data management software products. He sold the firm in 1993 to EMC for $141 million. Previously, he was the Founder, President and CEO of SQL Solutions, a leading purveyor of services and tools for the relational database market. Bob sold SQL Solutions to Sybase for stock eventually worth over $100 million. Bob served as an executive officer of Sybase for over two years.

In recent years, Bob has appeared three times on the Forbes' Midas list, a ranking of top venture capitalists. He also appeared on the cover of Business Week in a features story describing how VCs thrive through good and tough times.
